Marie Curie de Maria Skłodowska-Curie (7 de novembro de 1867 - 4 de julho de 1934), foi uma cientista polonesa nascida na Varsóvia. Descobriu o Rádio (elemento químico). Foi a primeira mulher a ser laureada com o Prêmio Nobel - Prémio Nobel de Física em 1903 pelas suas descobertas no campo da radioactividade; e Prêmio Nobel de Química em 1911.
