George Raymond Richard Martin (nascido George Raymond Martin, 20 de setembro de 1948) é um romancista e contista americano dos gêneros fantasia, terror e ficção científica, roteirista e produtor de televisão. Ele é mais conhecido por As Crônicas de Gelo e Fogo, sua série best-seller internacional de romances épicos de fantasia que a HBO adaptou para sua série dramática Game of Thrones.
