Gênio é uma pessoa com grande capacidade intelectual. Ela pode se manifestar por um intelecto de primeira grandeza, ou um talento criativo fora do comum. O nível de QI pelo qual alguém pode ser chamado de gênio é geralmente definido como 140 ou superior. O termo também se aplica a alguém que é um polímata ou alguém habilidoso em muitas áreas mentais.
