Dave Shannon (27 de maio de 1922 — 8 de abril de 1993) foi um piloto de bombardeiros da Real Força Aérea Australiana.

- Na noite de 16 de maio de 1943, uma força de bombardeiros Lancaster foi designada para atacar as barragens de Moehne, Eder e Sorpe, na Alemanha. A operação foi de grande dificuldade e perigo.
- - On the night of 16th May, 1943, a force of Lancaster bombers was detailed to attack the Moehne, Eder and Sorpe dams in Germany. The operation was one of great difficulty and hazard.
